Andrea Montoya has had her fair share of unkempt dilemmas. A lifestyle coach who is better known for empowering people towards an invigorating life, Andrea has previously suffered a cycle of endless and self-inflicted torture from within. But when she eventually found her silver lining, it led to living a life where she could have only dreamt of doing.

So she joined numerous fitness competitions, became a personal trainer, and worked as a health coach. She also became a nutritionist, with the hopes of overcoming her problem of binge-eating and fad dieting. But as soon as she realized that not one of these accomplishments worked for her, she knew that her dilemma was more than just a weight problem.
Andrea’s unwavering motivation led her to work with various psychologists and psychiatrists to help her see the root of everything. When she learned that an intrinsic force controlled the fate of her eating habits, she began to focus on herself, particularly managing her emotions and attaining self-love. This journey allowed her to explore more about the complexities of her problem. As she nearly reached the peak of self-fulfillment, she decided to impart her knowledge to similarly-situated individuals.
With a degree in holistic nutrition and a certificate in self-love coaching, Andrea set out to create a program — Ditch the Scale Academy. This is designed to help struggling individuals learn better ways to cope with problems surrounding emotional eating. It also serves as an avenue for people to achieve their ideal body weight with a better sense of self.
In the coming years, Andrea looks forward to continuing her newfound mission in encouraging people to follow her journey towards self-improvement. With everything that she has been through, she hopes to serve as a ray of sunshine for people who have had trouble finding their silver lining.
