Nowadays, there is so much hate and disconnect around the world. It’s quite ironic because the age of the internet made everyone easily accessible to one another, so long as there is a stable internet connection.

Accessibility does not always mean emotional ties, though, as time and time again, human bonds fall apart all around us. Once a relationship breaks, is it irredeemable? When is it smart to stay or walk away?

Christina Roberson may be able to help people when it comes to matters of the heart. A former Cosmetologist, Christina realized the significance of inner beauty just as much as outer beauty, though the former is more likely to be disregarded. She first began by helping her clients in her Cosmetology career. Upon seeing the impact, she created — boosts in self-esteem and relationship success stories — Christina knew she had a additional calling.

Driven by her passion for human connection, she became a Certified Professional Coach in 2011. Christina focuses on relationships, be it romantic or platonic. Learning to love oneself, establishing boundaries, and developing key routines are her focus on achieving healthy relationships for her clientele. People tend to overlook themselves as essential parts of human connections to the point of neglect. Christina encourages her clients to shift from that mindset and in turn embody self-awareness, understand love languages, and embrace attraction.

Nothing delights Christina more than imparting her knowledge and insight to her clients and the people she holds dear. Seeing them steadily grow more confident and filled with self-love gives Christina hope for more improved lives and successful human endeavors.

Determined to have a wider reach, Christina became an author and podcaster. She founded Discover A Better You LLC, a collaboration hub for positive impact, as well as a nonprofit focusing on youth. Along with her business partner Mary Reynolds-Clark, a Certified Energy Leader Coach, they created the nonprofit organization Heart-Centered Matters. Heart-Centered Matters brings relationship coaching into high schools and colleges all around the US. Together, Christina and Mary, minorities and women in business, use their nineteen years of coaching for the greater good.

Their nonprofit aims to focus on the youth because they believe change begins with them. Once the younger generations are appropriately educated on emotional hygiene and self-care, they will break the chain of toxicity and abuse, radically changing the world. The organization’s focus is to teach the youth to recognize, from an early age, the signs of toxic behavior from any source. They also teach how to navigate and reconcile from the trauma that comes with it. They guide the youth on how to build positive morale and self-respect and cultivate healthy relationships with peers, family, coworkers, and intimate partners.

In the long run, the goal of Heart-Centered Matters is to teach Relationship Education in every high school and college in America, alongside required academic courses. Helping the youth early on will produce a chain-reaction in society that has never been seen before.

Christina runs an Instagram page with over twelve thousand followers, and she posts meaningful messages sure to bring much-needed awareness and uplift your mood. She also has a LinkTree to help her clients keep track of all her important links. Christina runs a website where you can see her informative blog entries.
