Building Brighter Futures: Pamela Blackman to Receive Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanitarianism from Global International Alliance

Chicago, IL — Pamela Joy Blackman, President and CEO of the Building Brighter Futures Center for the Arts, has been selected to receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanitarianism from the Global International Alliance. The ceremony, which will be held on June 17, 2023, will be presided over by Dr. Dee Thompson, Global International Alliance Florida Chaplain and CEO of Purpose Never Dies, LLC.

The Global International Alliance is a non-profit organization that promotes international collaboration in the areas of education, business, and social justice. The organization is known for recognizing exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities and the world at large.

Pamela Joy Blackman is being honored for her dedication and commitment to serving underprivileged young people in Chicago. Through the Building Brighter Futures Center for the Arts, Blackman has created a safe and nurturing environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

Dr. Aleta Clark, also known as Englewood Barbie, nominated Pamela recognizing her efforts in the community. Clark is a community activist and advocate for education and social justice.
